The Silver Fox Inn is a small business that has managed to provide a service to many guests for more than 30 years. Our policies are a reflection of those 30 years, and have been implemented to allow us to continue to serve our guests in the many years to come.
Reservation Confirmation:
By providing your credit card number, you have confirmed your reservation with us and confirmed that you have read our Policies. Payment or an appropriate deposit will be charged for holding the room. Confirmation of your reservation will be emailed to you once your deposit is processed. The Silver Fox Inn reserves the right to cancel any reservation, at any time, with full refund of any money paid by Guests.
Arrival Time:
Check-in time is available from 4pm until 6pm. Early check-in may be available (if possible) with prior arrangements. Late check-in (after 6pm) is available with prior arrangements. Please contact your host to make early or late check-in arrangements.
Departure Time:
Check out time is 10:30 a.m.
Deposits:
$75.00 for a one night stay, 25% for more than one night. For Group Bookings - 50% of total required
Cancellation or Change of Reservation: The Silver Fox Inn uses a 3 week cancellation policy.
21+ days notice – deposit refunded less an admin charge.
21-6 days notice – deposit retained unless room is re-rented.
less than 6 days notice – payment in full unless room is re-rented.
60+ days notice – Group Bookings - deposit refunded less an admin charge.
60-21 days notice – Group Bookings – deposit retained for rooms cancelled, unless rooms are re-rented
less than 21 days notice – Group Bookings – payment in full for rooms cancelled unless rooms are re-rented
Please note that our Reservation and Cancellation Policies are a vital part of managing a small B&B inn. Our cancellation policy may change at any time for any reason, at the innkeepers’ discretion.
What happens if I want to cancel my reservation?
Any cancellation by the guest must be forwarded in writing to the Silver Fox Inn, (email is quick and works best). If we are able to re-book your room(s) for the entire period of your reservation, the Silver Fox Inn will refund all monies paid by the guest, less a $25 cancellation fee. If we are only able to re-book a part of the original reservation period, the guest will be refunded a proportionate amount of the monies paid, less a $25 cancellation fee. If we are unable to re-book the room(s) for any part of the original reservation period, then all monies paid by the guest will be forfeited to the Silver Fox Inn.
We suggest that you contact your travel agent or credit card company regarding trip cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen changes to your plans.
We do not give credit or refunds for early departures, unless we are able to re-rent the room(s).
No-Shows are charged for full scheduled stay.
Room rates, tax rates, and policies are subject to change without notice.
Payment Options:
The balance for your reservation is due at check-in. Preferred payment is by cash, travelers check or debit card. However, Mastercard and Visa are also accepted.
Single-Night bookings:
At the Silver Fox Inn, we will accept one-night reservations. Many Bed and Breakfast Inns will not allow this. For this reason, we may need to ask you to change rooms, in the event of a multi-night reservation.
Occupancy:
Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. There is an additional fee of $30 per extra person per night.
Breakfast:
Our complimentary breakfast is served between 7:30am and 9:00am. Our menu is diverse enough that even those with allergies can usually find enough to eat....but for those who do have allergies and cannot accommodate our menu, we are more than happy to warm up food that you have brought with you.
Parking:
We have private off-street parking to accommodate all guests.
Smoking:
The Silver Fox Inn is a NON SMOKING facility. Smoking is not permitted inside the Inn.
Pets:
The Silver Fox Inn cannot accommodate pets of any kind. Our old house is a pet free environment.
Children:
The Silver Fox Inn is not a child-safe environment. Please discuss children with your host prior to registration.
Room Keys:
Please leave room keys on front desk at check out. Failure to return room keys at check out will result in a $30.00 charge added to your credit card.
Forgotten Items:
We charge $20, plus shipping, to return any items left in the room. If you do not request your item within 5 days, we will donate it to the local family-need center.
Other Fees:
Other fees may be assessed related to missing or damaged property, cleaning fees, loss of room use fees as appropriate and determined by the Silver Fox Inn.
Amenities:
Are provided free of charge. We provide the service as long as the service is available.
